Mooncakes Transfer Program
2008
Aim:
The Mid-Autumn Festival is just over two
months away. Whilst we are busy picking and choosing moon cakes
and festive food, will we show our care to the poor in our
midst? Many underprivileged families living under the poverty
line cannot afford festive food and hope that people in the
society will share with them the joy of the festive season.
The
People’s Food Bank collects moon cakes for poor families in the
hope that the latter can enjoy the Mid-Autumn Festival. This
activity is in dire need of the participation and support from
different sectors of society.
Collection Date:
From 11 August 2008
