Mooncakes Transfer Program 2008

 

Aim

The Mid-Autumn Festival is just over two months away.  Whilst we are busy picking and choosing moon cakes and festive food, will we show our care to the poor in our midst?  Many underprivileged families living under the poverty line cannot afford festive food and hope that people in the society will share with them the joy of the festive season.  The People’s Food Bank collects moon cakes for poor families in the hope that the latter can enjoy the Mid-Autumn Festival. This activity is in dire need of the participation and support from different sectors of society.

Collection Date:

From 11 August 2008 to 12 September 2008

Way of Donation:

1)         Staff of St. James’ Settlement would come and pick up the moon cakes If benefactors have any 30 boxes of moon cakes

2)         Donors can send them directly to the following centres

(a)  Sai On Centre, G/F, Shop1-3, Fortune Court, 10 Sai On Lane, Sai Ying Pun, HK.

(b)Rm 105 or 901, St. James’ Settlement Head Office, 85 Stone Nullah Road, Wan Chai, HK
